ROB ZOMBIE: Photos From 'The Devil's Rejects' Movie Set Posted Online

June 26, 2004

Horror movie web site Bloody-Disgusting.com has uploaded a detailed report (including pictures) from a visit to the set of "The Devil's Rejects", the much-anticipated sequel to Rob Zombie's directorial debut, "House of 1000 Corpses". Read the report and check out the photos at this location. Additional images are available for viewing at the Freeze Dried Moviesweb site.

As previously reported, "The Devil's Rejects" (which "refers to the nickname that the media has bestowed upon our favorite band of murderers") will feature a plot revolving around "the revenge-driven brother of slain Sheriff Wydell hunting down the family with a band of bounty hunters."

Speaking to MTV.com earlier this month, Zombie had the following to say about the new movie: "If you look at any series of horror-movie sequels, say 'A Nightmare on Elm Street', Freddy Krueger is this terrifying character in the first, but as time goes on he becomes this fun-loving character that little kids want to dress up as for Halloween. Same with Michael Myers [from 'Halloween']. And I didn't want that to happen, so I took the humor away so the characters kind of go in the exact opposite direction. They become meaner and more horrible, rather than familiar and fun-loving."
